SCONUL/CARL exchange of experience seminar

'Cross Canada Checkup'

The Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL) will be hosting an exchange of experience seminar for SCONUL. This afternoon seminar will explore themes common to both communities, and will be a mix of informal plenary presentations (from the Canadian participants) and breakout sessions for discussion. This event is the culmination of a UK tour.

Each speaker will be stationed in a breakout room. The four groups of about 15 (made up of CARL/SCONUL members) will rotate to the next breakout room every half hour. Note that that there are four groups and three 30 minutes time slots so each group visits only 3 of the 4 breakout rooms

This is an opportunity for delegates to meet with their counterparts to discuss matters dear to them as identified on the CARL Speakers’ List, especially where the topic has not been covered in a plenary or group session e.g. copyright, aspects of statistics, data management etc.
