Libraries of the Future

Wednesday 7 December 2011
Royal College of Physicians, 11 St Andrews Place, Regent's Park, London NW1 4LE

The Academic Libraries of the Future project was created to support those leading academic libraries in planning for the future. This event will mark the publication of the three scenarios which describe possible futures for teaching, academic and research libraries in the UK and will provide advice on using the scenarios in an institutional setting. The scenarios will help Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and other organisations look at the challenges faced from a fresh perspective and help them formulate strategies to ensure the sector continues to be a leading global force.

The project is sponsored by the British Library, JISC, RIN, RLUK and SCONUL.
