SCONUL Statistics Training Day

The SCONUL Working Group on Performance Improvement and LISU are pleased to announce the 2009-10 workshops designed for those who complete the SCONUL return on behalf of their institutions, and for those who would like to make better use of the statistics they gather for library management and performance assessment.

They will be held on:

Thursday, 17 November 2009 at University of Westminster, London and
Thursday, 7 January 2010 at Loughborough University

Each session will run from 10:30 to 4:00, will cover the technical aspects of the return, examples of how others are using the data, data relating to electronic resources, and a workshop session on performance assessment in a variety of situations. More details can be found at http://www.lboro.ac.uk/departments/dis/lisu/sconulstatsws09-10.html

The aim is to give participants confidence in interpreting and analysing SCONUL data for performance measurement and improvement.

The fee for each event, including lunch, is £150. Places are limited, and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve your place, please complete the registration form, at: http://www.lboro.ac.uk/departments/dis/lisu/forms/sconulreg.html
