Action Plan 2007/8

1. Provide a firm platform for the work of the group in light of contextual changes.
2. Collaborate on the SCONUL invited ‘seminar’ on Learning and Teaching strategy agenda in conjunction with Task Force on e-Learning
3. Work on the development of appropriate position statements on information literacy and learning with reference to the work of the SCONUL TAFG on E-learning and the outcomes of the HEFCE Strategy for E-learning
4. Update, amend and promote the Seven Pillars model of IL
5. Develop research-level awareness and understanding of Information Literacy
6. Develop links with European Higher Education organisations
7. Further develop links with the Higher Education Academy
8. Articulate relationships between IL and new social networking/e-Learning technologies
9. Collaborate with the CILIP ILG group
