Biography
I spearhead Information Services’ initiatives in information literacy in Cardiff University, a role which I have held since 2004. In conjunction with this, I am also a subject librarian for Cardiff Law School and was first runner-up for Academic Legal Information Professional in the first BIALL LexisNexis Awards for Excellence in 2005. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and in 2009 was the winner of the HEA-ICS National Award for the Teaching of Information and Computer Sciences in Higher Education in Wales. I am a committee member of the CILIP CSG-Information Literacy Group and managing editor of its Journal of Information Literacy. I am secretary to the SCONUL Working Group on Information Literacy..
