SCONUL workshop on the balanced scorecard approach to performance measurement

Friday 9 March 2012, 11.00-15.00hrs
Millennium Room, The Carriageworks, The Electric Press, 3 Millennium Square, Leeds LS2 3AD

In the light of the changed business and policy environment for academic libraries many of us are actively considering the most appropriate framework for assessing our library's performance. This knowledge sharing session provides an opportunity to learn about the Balanced Scorecard approach to strategic performance measurement. The Balanced Scorecard is one of the most widely adopted performance management frameworks, and is increasingly being used in libraries in the UK and internationally. The workshop offers the opportunity to hear the experience of colleagues who have used the Balanced Scorecard and to share knowledge. It will also inform future activity for SCONUL’s Working Group on Performance and Quality.

In order to tailor the workshop you will be required to specify in the booking form your experience with the Balanced Scorecard approach.

There are 40 places which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Cost: £42
