9th Northumbria International Conference on Performance Measurement in Libraries and Information Services
15 June, 2011
SCONUL is offering a sponsored place at the forthcoming conference, 9th Northumbria International Conference on Performance Measurement in Libraries and Information Services, to be held at the University of York, 22nd to 25th August 2011. The sponsorship award covers the cost of attendance travel, conference fees, and accommodation.
In return for the sponsorship, the successful applicant is required to contribute a case study to the SCONUL Performance Portal based on the application of performance measurement he or she has introduced after attending the conference.
Applications are welcomed from any member of library staff in a SCONUL library with an interest in this topic.
To be considered, a letter of application should be sent in the first instance to SCONUL. Applicants should include a short CV, a brief explanation of why they would like to attend, and a draft proposal for the case study. The application should be e-mailed to info@sconul.ac.uk with the subject line '9th Northumbria International Conference'. If you have already booked for the conference you can still apply for sponsorship.
The closing date for applications is Friday 1 July 2011.
Standard class rail fare travel expenses to and from the conference will be repaid on presentation of the case study and receipts. Repayment for other forms of transport will need confirming by the successful applicant.
