Director of Learner and Discovery Services, Open University
Dr Nick Barratt is Director of Learner and Discovery Services at the Open University. His previous role was Director of Senate House Library, University of London, having joined in 2015 as Associate Director, Collections and Engagement. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, an Honorary Associate Professor of public history at the University of Nottingham, a teaching fellow at the University of Dundee, and sits on the Executive Committee of the Community Archives and Heritage Group. A qualified historian specialising in thirteenth century state finance and fiscal history, he is a published author and, prior to his current position, worked in the media for a number of years.
