Invitation to join the SCONUL LibQUAL+ Consortium 2015

Since 2003 a consortium of SCONUL member libraries have been using the LibQUAL+® customer satisfaction survey tool to evaluate their performance. At a time when the student experience is a key driver of library strategy, LibQUAL+® helps to explore issues that may be hidden in broad reaching student surveys.

Registration for LibQUAL+® 2015 is now open for implementation of your survey between Jan 15 and May 31, or July 1 and December 9. Institutions can run their survey at any time within either period to fit local needs. Survey results are usually available within 10 days of closing your survey locally. The standard base fee for the LibQUAL+® survey is $3,200; a reduced fee is applicable if LibQUAL+® is implemented annually or biennially. To register for the survey and for further information please see: www.libqual.org

The UK LibQUAL+® participants benefit from comparative data results enabling them to benchmark services with other individual participants, and/or the SCONUL average results. A total of 76 member libraries have used the survey tool so far, with over half of these implementing the questionnaire on a regular basis. In 2014 the SCONUL Consortium consisted of:

Anglia Ruskin University
Buckinghamshire New University
Cranfield University
London School of Economics
National University of Ireland, Galway
National University of Ireland, Maynooth
Queen Mary, University of London
Robert Gordon University
University College, Dublin
University College, Cork
University of Glasgow
University of Leicester
University of Limerick
University of Liverpool
University of the Arts London
