Liz's Professional career spans 30 years and has include working in HE Colleges, polytechnics and Russell Group Libraries. Currently, she leads the Library & Heritage Collections Team at Durham University, so her portfolio is broad. In the past, she has specialised in information
literacy, student skills, marketing and building design. Liz has previously been a member of the Transformation Strategy Group and chaired the SCONUL Library Design Awards in 2013 and 2016.
Liz has a strong commitment to collaborative working, and a belief that through cooperation and sharing; a stronger future can be built delivering optimum value for all stakeholders. She was part of the Change Academy group which led to the formation of the Northern Collaboration https://northerncollaboration.org.uk and has recently stepped down as Secretary to the steering group to devote time to the SCONUL Executive Board.
