The SCONUL AI working group hosted a webinar, on Thursday 13 November 2025, exploring "Leading and developing AI services and teams". Previous webinars have explored tips for engaging with University leaders about AI, and on Libraries adopting commercially provided AI tools into their work.
We heard from Gary Elliott-Cirigottis, Director of Library and Knowledge Services at the Open University and Ciaran Talbot, Director of Artificial Intelligence and Ideas Adoption at University of Manchester Library who presented on strategies for digital transformation, collaboration, and training in adopting AI technologies.
