Our intended theme is “Supporting student intakes throughout the academic year”

​We're looking for speakers for 15 - 20-minute presentations on topics such as:

• Initiatives you have taken to welcome students either to the library or the institution.
• Initiatives you have taken to welcome students back after a year out or after a placement.
• How you have worked with other parts of your Institutions to ensure students feel welcomed and know where to find help and support throughout their studies.
• How you have tailored support for different levels of study such as Home or International students; Distance Learners or Campus based students; Undergraduates, PGT, PGRs
• How you have tailored support for the different in-takes that take place across the academic year, and for those students that join the institution outside your main intakes?  

If you would like to participate and present, please send a brief description of your topic to Alison Charlesworth  (alison.charlesworth@leicester.ac.uk) - deadline 16th May 2025.
