AI coffee Morning
The SCONUL AI and information literacy CIG took over our AI coffee morning in March. They looked at sharing guidance and good practice supporting AI and information literacy. They were also be joined by three speakers who shared the developments from their institutions:
- Róisín Guilfoyle, Research Support Librarian at Technological University Dublin, talked about their work on AI and information literacy for researchers and academics.
- Patrick Keegan, Learning and Teaching Specialist Librarian at RSCI, talked about some of the guidance and workshops they’ve been developing around prompts.
- Giada Zanella, Information Specialist at Aston University, talked about how they have produced an e-learning pathway to support students and researchers with AI, information literacy and assessment in collaboration with colleagues in their Learning and Development Centre, the Centre for English Language and Communication, and student volunteers.
