SCONUL survey on a proposal to share job descriptions and organisational charts

Would it be helpful for you to be able to easily share job descriptions and organisational structures with colleagues across the library sector? SCONUL is conducting a project and survey to find out.
As the profession develops, changes and grows into new areas, sharing organisational structures and job descriptions is a useful way to help share good practice and gain insights into different roles. The SCONUL Organisational Development Strategy Group is undertaking a project in this area to see what the demand would be for a shared database of these documents as well as links to relevant case studies.
The database would be accessible to all SCONUL members with the functionality to search or browse it and would be available through the SCONUL website.. As part of the project, we would also be looking to commission new case studies as well as promote existing ones.
We would be grateful if you could fill in a short survey to let us know what your interest would be in this database and to provide your initial thoughts on what case studies you would prioritise being created. The survey is open to all, we are looking for one reply per institution preferably, and it should take a maximum of 5-10 minutes to complete.
You can complete the survey at the following link: https://survey.zohopublic.com/zs/dQBqIt and it will close on 11 October 2024.
